Theralase®
Theralase® lasers provide the treatment area with billions of photons of light at very specific wavelengths. This laser light is then absorbed on a cellular level and is energetically transformed into chemical energy and subsequently used to repair damaged tissues. Theralase® lasers accelerate healing by increasing ATP production, reduce inflammation by increasing nitric oxide levels, and eliminates pain by activating the lipid absorption pathway and rebalancing the Na+/K+ pumps, thus eliminating pain signals at the source. In total, Theralase® lasers enable rapid cell growth, faster wound healing, increased metabolic activity, and increased vascular activity. Theralase® treatment also stimulates nerve function, while simultaneously reducing inflammation and fibrous tissue formation.
Theralase® uses two wavelengths to stimulate three important cellular pathways:
660 nm: stimulates the Adenosine Triphosphate (ATP) Pathway
905 nm: stimulates the nitric oxide pathway, increasing nitric oxide levels by 700%
